On August 25th, candidates for State Representative, State
Senate and US Representative for the First District joined us
for a question / answer session. We all learned a lot! The
candidates all voiced understanding about the importance of the
work done by Direct Support Professional and expressed concerns
about the lack of regular wages and access to health insurance.
We hope to follow up with smaller opportunities for the
candidates to know us better!
