Most positions at HMC
require that you have a valid driver’s license and a good
driving record. If you are offered a position, your driving
record will be reviewed by our insurance carrier for
verification of your ability to drive HMC vehicles. Generally,
the following guidelines apply:
No major violations in the last three years (DWI,
vehicular homicide, reckless driving, drugs or leaving
the scene)
Maximum of 1 moving violation in the last three years
in combination with one at fault accident, or
Maximum of 2 moving violations in the last three
years with no at-fault accidents, or
Maxiumum of 2 at-fault accidents in the last three
years with no moving violations.
The above violations may disqualify you from driving HMC
vehicles, and thus disqualify you from a position with our
agency.
Harry Meyering Center, Inc.’s insurance carrier will not
allow any employee to drive company vehicles if they have a poor
driving record. Since driving company vehicles is an essential
function of most positions at HMC, a good driving record
is required. Driving records are reviewed annually.
