You Win Some and You Lose Some – But it is Still FUN!

Over the last three games, the HMC team has had a couple of wins and a couple of losses. On May 27th we played the Mankato Mustache Riders. This was an exciting game in which both teams were ahead at various times in the game. Ultimately HMC came through with a win with a final score of 11 to 10. On June 3rd the team played a double header. The first game was against Mac’s and HMC won with game by the 10 run rule with a score of 13 to 1 after 5 short innings. We were not as lucky second game on June 3rd against ’07 Crusaders. HMC lost this game by the 10 run rule with a score of 5 to 16. On June 10th HMC played Spinners/Park Lane Liquor and after a very close, back and forth game HMC lost in the bottom of the 7th with a final score of 7 to 9. Despite having a couple of losses the team is in good spirits and is ready for our next game against MICO on June 17th.

We continue to enjoy a loyal fan contingency with many dedicated fans attending every game. We appreciate the spirit and energy the fans bring to the game. So if you wanna have some fun – come out the ballgame some Tuesday night. Hope to see you there!!

This game resulted in a Win the outcome column with a final score of 11 to 9. Hopefully there will be many more Wins to follow.
