Kids Against
Hunger |
On
3-9-09, we had a large group at Kids Against Hunger.
We packed for just over an hour and packed enough food for
over 4,500 kids!

On March 23rd, HMC held a retirement party for longtime employee
Janet Pitts. Janet has held several positions within HMC,
but most recently has been House Coordinator at Prairie's Edge,
since it opened in 2005. We wish Janet all the best as she
begins her retirement. |

HMC presented Janet with a brick paver. She will be
honored in our commemorative garden
with a paver inscribed in her honor.

Elvis is in the building!
Elvis entertained 65 consumers and staff at Centenary United
Methodist Church on Friday March 20th. Elvis and
band performed from 5:30- 7:30 pm. Many danced and
sang along to all of Elvis’s well known hits. He gave scarfs
to all of the ladies. Some people also brought their supper
and ate with friends before the concert at 5pm.
